Personal Statement

Hi! I'm Jayeleigh Drake! I am a goal orientated, driven athlete who is always striving to be the best person, athlete, and teammate I can be. I am primarily a main base, but have experience being a side base as well. I work very hard to maintain very good academics, and keep up with many activities outside of school and cheer.  For the 2022-23 season, I was voted by my teammates as a Varsity Captain. For competitive cheer, I am on a Senior Level 4 team. I am always willing to do whatever necessary to help the team succeed. When I go to college to further my academic career, I also really want to cheer. I want a cheer college program that gives me not only the opportunity to cheer the other sports teams on from the sidelines, but also the privilege of competing at a few competitions, as that has been such a big part of my life since I was 8.
