2015 NCSA College Power Rankings
Top Athletic & Academic Colleges
Williams rockets back to first place in the overall 2015 NSCA Collegiate Power Rankings. Williams held the top slot in the 2013 rankings, only to fall a bit to fifth place in 2014. This small Division III private school enjoys high ratings in all three factors used by NSCA to rank schools, including the first-place spot in both the US News rankings and the Learfield Sports Directors' Cup. Amherst, Stanford and Notre Dame held second, third and fourth place, respectively, just as they did in 2014. Rounding out the top five schools is Middlebury, which moves all the way up from 16th place in 2014. Middlebury’s improvement was largely driven by higher graduation rates for student-athletes.
