Personal Statement
I want to play college field hockey because it is an incredible sport full of teamwork, communication, and strategy. I have found such passion for the sport, and I want to learn as much as possible and develop my skills to become the best player I can. I am value-driven, which motivates me on and off the field to never give up and strive to win. My philosophy involves leadership and a positive mindset.
Outside the game, I work hard academically and strive to be the best student possible. A lot of my determination on the field comes from the skills I have learned in the classroom, such as perseverance, cooperation, and self-respect. I respond well to constructive criticism and am always open to new ways to evaluate the world.
Field hockey has become a major part of my life and a huge influence on who I am. I have confidence that the college experience will only increase my passion and leave me positive memories that will last a lifetime.
