Personal Statement
My collegiate aspirations are to pursue a degree in environmental engineering, to play on a team where I can make an impact, and create life long friendships with my teammates. I really love having that special bond and I do not want that to end when I graduate high school. I have found that the discipline and routine in sports motivates me to work as hard in the classroom as I do on the field. I believe that I am different from other recruits because I am very coachable and I always want to improve myself from stick skills to academics. I am a very adaptable player and I enjoy learning new skills in all positions. I am now beginning my third high school season and I am proud of the fact that I started every varsity game since my freshman year. This past season, I received the Eastern Connecticut Conference Honorable Mention for midfield and All State Second Team recognition. Prior to high school, I played at the rec. and club level since fifth grade. It is because of these things, I feel that I will be a very good addition to a college field hockey team.
