Personal Statement
My name is Bailey Masten and I am a member of the Milford Senior High School Varsity Field Hockey and Lacrosse teams. I have a strong desire to play field hockey at the next level. As a member of the class 2025 I'm excited as I continue my journey exploring the academic and athletic programs at schools that feel I may be an asset to their programs. The recruiting process has been rewarding as I have received great coaching and have formed friendships with a lot of great people. I was honored to earn 2nd Team All Henlopen Conference as a freshman (2021), and 1st Team All-Conference in 2022, as well as 1st Team All-State (2022) in Delaware. This past season (2023) I was again honored to be selected to both 1st Team All-Henlopen Conference and 1st Team All-State in Delaware, I was honored to be recognized by Delaware Coaches in the Delaware Online early rankings article as the 7th ranked player in Delaware and to be named to the NHFCA 2023 Watch List. I'm also a member of the Shore Byrds Field Hockey Club and the Eastern Shore Lacrosse Club. My hobbies include spending time with my family, anything outdoors, including enjoying my time at Indian Beach, Delaware, and practicing to improve my field hockey and lacrosse skills. I'd also like to add I'm a current member of the FFA at Milford Senior High School, as well as I'm a past volunteer coach with the Milford Central Academy summer league team at DE Turf and participate in our schools Special Olympics of Delaware Unified Basketball team.
