Alexyss Baird '25 Recruiting Profile

    Hi,my name is Alexyss, and I'm a good candidate for your field hockey team because I work hard and because you can put me anywhere on the field, but defense is where I'm strongest. In order to improve on speed and fitness for field hockey, I ran the 100m and 200m sprints for indoor and outdoor track. I arrive and start practice one hour early, working on my drives and chokes.

    Generally speaking, I am kind, helpful, and compassionate. I can often be found doing community service at LACO (Lisbon Area Christian Outreach) or assisting underclassmen find their way. My motto is "Never give up until the fight is done." 

    I strive for high scores in all my classes and maintain my status on honor roll. I have only missed five days of school since my kindergarten year. I get my work done because I'm fairly organized and like staying ahead. My attention to detail, hard work, attendance, and dedication make me a great candidate for your team.
