Morgan Fenderson '18 Recruiting Profile

  I am a 5'7" defender from Lisbon High School in Maine, currently I am a junior. I am extremely dedicated to field hockey and also to my academics. I have been playing field hockey for 5 years, in my freshman year I was a swinger and started for my high school's JV team. In my sophomore season I was a straight varsity starter for my school and we placed second in our region. I also play for a club team called MAINE STYX, recently I travelled down to Virginia for the Shooting Stars tournament on the U19 team. As much time as I have put into field hockey I have also put into my academics. I am well balanced between academics, sports and my family. This year I was asked to be a part of Olympia Snowe's Women's Leadership Program and also was invited to travel down to Lowell to participate in the Congress of Future Medical Leaders.

    I am preferably looking for a school that fits my academic criteria but also would love to play field hockey in college. I am well rounded in multiple sports and teams, while being a fast-paced learner. I hope that your team and college will be a good fit for me as I will be for them.
