I started playing field hockey at the age of 9, when I tagged along with a friend to a club team tryout. I found out that I liked the sport. Then I found out that I'm a pretty good player. Since then I've played in a lot of tournaments, been selected for World Camp in Amsterdam, attended Festival in Florida, and been on a few all star teams. I made my high school varsity team as a freshman, and was nominated as All DIvision in my sophomore year (we are a young team at Bethesda - Chevy Chase, and I'm very excited about next year). I have recently joined the Washington Wolves club team, and I'm practicing and playing with U19, even though I'm still only 15.
It's hard to answer a lot of the questions on this form about what kind of college I want to go to and what I want to study, since I'm still a sophomore and I'm just starting to think about all this. The one thing I'm certain of is that I do want to play field hockey in college, and I want to play for a competitive team with a lot of fun teammates with good school spirit.
