Hello field hockey coaches.
My name is Mary Huffman (class of 2022) and my goal in college is to win a national championship for whatever level I choose.
I play with a passion that most don’t know. I’m an aggressive and imposing athlete that leaves everything out on the field. I challenge myself everyday to improve my acumen for the game and push myself to be a more supportive teammate on and off the field. Along with field hockey I play basketball.
I have an affinity for history more specifically world and US history from 1700 to 1980. Along with history I enjoy sciences and political sciences (pre-law) with a focus in forensics. As you will see my grades and test scores are not a problem.
I want to express my passion to do what is needed to be the best player teammate and student I can be.

- I've played on U19 for the NIT, Easter Shooting stars, Midwest classic(Wittenburg as part of Stealth FHC), Playing at Midwest Classic Miami of Ohio for FDL.

- Playing for my club is amazing, I have the opportunity to play at forward primarily, but I also play weak side back, and I've been playing more at strong side mid. During this year so far; I've played in two play dates in Ohio, prepping for QNIT, and this weekend 2/28/20-3/1/20 NIT at spooky Nook. Along with indoor, I've played at Disney showcase which I have 5 games of video I can forward, at request.

- Dear Mary Huffman, We are excited to announce you have been selected to your Nexus Regional Selection Event. This event is the next step in USA Field Hockey’s new and improved Olympic Development Pathway Program. Nexus, presented by Harrow Sports, is designed to help players take their game to the next level and develop the next generation of elite players and future U.S. Olympians. The Selection Event serves as the final step in earning a spot at the Nexus Championships this summer. In order to qualify for Nexus Championships, athletes must attend their Regional Selection Event.
