I was first introduced to field hockey during PE in 2nd grade at my elementary school. I really enjoyed playing this new sport so I joined Gateway Field Hockey Club in the fall of 2011. I have played year round ever since. This great sport has given me the opportunity to travel around the country against top competition.
My teachers describe me as dependable, honest, cooperative, driven, and a leader. I have maintained an A average in grades 7 through 9. I want to find a college that allows me to thrive both academically and athletically. I am interested in architecture and mathematics. At this point I am considering a major in Engineering.
I am a winner and a leader. I have been selected/voted as a captain of both my club and school team. My coaches describe me as hardworking, coachable, and supportive of my teammates. I consider myself extremely competitive with a strong desire to outwork my opponents.
