My collegiate goal is to go into a 4-year program in the medical field. All throughout high school I have challenged myself by taking honor leveled and advanced placement courses. What makes me a good candidate is my determination, motivation to succeed, my passion for the sport, and also my grades. Not many students can be a three-sport athlete, take AP classes, and have good grades all at once. Being a three-sport athlete I take every season very seriously however, during every season I am constantly thinking of what I can do to improve my skills for the next field hockey season from stick handling on my own, to running consistently to keep my endurance high, to weight training on my own and always going the extra mile after practices. One thing that sets me apart from other candidates is my work-ethic and my drive to succeed. I attended the NHIAA Life of an Athlete Event for leadership along with one other student from Berlin High School, being a leader is not always the easiest, and not everyone has the key leadership qualities, and I am one of the few people who have leadership qualities.
