Personal Statement

I am looking forward to playing field hockey at the collegiate level when I graduate from high school in 2012. I have been playing field hockey since I was in 6th grade and I really enjoy the sport. I have a lot heart in field hockey and I put forth much effort in improving to be the best player I can be. In High School I was chosen to play varsity as a freshmen by head coach Jon Gatsas. I also was chosen to play in the National Qualifier in 2010 as the only sophomore on my club team, out of approx 30 girls by head coach Ann Maclean. I am hoping when I attend college that I will pursue nursing as my major. I play for Granite State Elite on the off season; I really love to travel and go to college tournements. In the year 2011 I will be participating in the National Qualifier in Mass. and also the Disney Showcase that is put on in February. I have my eyes open to many different types of colleges, any oportunities I am given I will pursue with an open mind and great expectations.
