Personal Statement

NCSA Personal Statement

You ask what the big dream is? Such a simple question, with a very complex answer. My field hockey dreams are to compete on a college team that is not only strong and skilled, but also caring and loving. I am a strong leader and I do anything and everything to the best of my ability. You can guarantee that I will always give 110% on and off the field. My skills include strong passes, forward progression, and stick skills. I believe that one should not be allowed to join a team just because of their abilities on the field. A big part of being on a team is being kind and full-hearted. To always help others and to never give up. To not only be inspired, but to inspire those around you.

My academic goals are to major in criminal justice. I wish to participate in Air Force ROTC and one day join the United States Air Force as a fireman. Through the ROTC Program I feel I will also acquire critical skills needed to play colligiate level field hockey. It will build my obedience and discipline. I am inspired by those who serve our country. They give me the will power to keep going. I wish to serve alongside these heroes, and pay my dues to the beautiful country of the United States.

I feel that there are much more important things than good grades and athletic ability. You should not only strive to be a good student and strong player, but a thoughtful human being. My goals are to bring happiness and to help anyone in need. I want to spread love wherever my life takes me. Joining a field hockey team will give me joy and hopefully more people to call my family. I want to be an ingredient that will bring my team to many victories and memorable moments. I believe that to win is not to succeed. I feel you should never give up. That is how you will forever live as a champion.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
