Athletics have always been an important part of my life, playing many different team as well as individual sports. I began playing field hockey in 6th grade, and with every year I've played, my love for the sport has grown.
For me, field hockey is a competitive outlet where I am able to strengthen and challenge myself, as well as work together with my team towards a common goal. I love the progress that each season and each tournament brings. I have been fortunate enough to have amazing coaches at my club and school teams and I pride myself on being respectful, coachable, a strong, positive communicator, and a leader to my teammates. I am an aggressive, tenacious player that is driven and committed to my team and to myself. I thrive with the structure that being a student athlete has provided me.
Off the field I am strong academically and strive to perform at a high level with all of my classes. I love the balance between family, school, sport and service through my volunteer pursuits. I hope to find a college that is a good fit for me academically as well as athletically. I love to play the game, and being able to play at the collegiate level will be an honor and welcome challenge that I look forward to taking on.
