I have played many sports but field hockey

is where I belong. My field hockey play

reflects me. My team is very important to

me, I like to know where my teammates are

on and off the field. I’m not afraid to lead

and I speak up when we need more

heart/effort. I like being a factor in games,

both offensively with aggressive attacks

and high speed dribbles, and defensively

containing and composed even if out

numbered. Defensive corners inspire me

and I often can be found diving or on the

ground. I take most free-hits and sit

central on corners offensively. I categorize

myself as a tough player, with a style of

play that uses stick skills and vision more

than pure athleticism. I excel when the

team is down and it’s time to really step up

and lead.
