Hailey Crosby '23 Recruiting Profile

My dream is to play at the highest level of field hockey and become an athletic trainer.  I have been playing for 11 years and have traveled for 6 years. I have played with many different teams including ACK, Country Strong, CNY, and Venom. I was also a starter on my varsity team as a 9th grader. My strongest position is as a left defender, but I can also play anywhere on the field. My coaches always tell me my strongest tactics are communication skills, good team motivations, and good transitions from offense to defense. As a defender, I love the speed and different strategies of the game. During the summers, I attend many different tournaments at the Spooky Nook Sports Complex and the Virginia Beach sports complex. I take every opportunity I can to compete and better my skills to my knowledge of the game. I'm truly dedicated to my academics and education to maintain a high honor roll average every quarter. I am also taking a college Spanish class as a 10th grader. One of of my biggest achievements will be when I am able to find the best academic and athletic college for me.
