Personal Statement

I have been playing field hockey since I was in sixth grade. I wasn't sure at first if this would be the sport I'd love, but after I picked up a stick I knew this was something I would be passionate about. By my eighth grade year, I was playing at the high school level. Ever since, I have done different clubs, tournaments with the school team, and individual work in the gym to make myself better than I was yesterday. I am resilient, and will always give my 110% on and off the field. Determined and motivated, I hope to play the sport that makes me the happiest at the college level.
