I first started playing field hockey in eighth grade, and I instantly fell in love with it. In fourth and fifth grade I did a few clinics and I didn't think the sport was for me, but in 8th grade when I was cut from soccer I came back, and I don't regret doing so at all. Field hockey has helped me gain new connections and meet new people from all over the world. One thing that I believe makes me a good athlete is that I don't give up and that i'm not afraid of failing. We all fail in life, and when I do, I just retry with more ambition to get it right. I love playing with people who are just as passionate about this sport as I am, and who are just as dedicated. For college, I am very interested in a program that will benefit me both athletically in competitions, and in academics with my major (Interested in the medical field).
