Field hockey is something that i’ve grown to love so much and dedicate lots of my time towards. I’ve been playing since 7th grade when my school allows you to sign up. I first got introduced to the sport by my aunt who played all the way through her high school career. Ever since i stepped on the field for the first ever practice I knew it was something I would love forever. It allows me to push myself both physically and mentally. On and off the field i work my hardest. If im not playing field hockey im working out, staying in shaping and bettering myself for field hockey. I participate in a club team, play indoor, as well as many clinics/ camps. Lots of people who join the sport don’t like it because of the running or how challenging it can be but i like it for those reasons it pushes me to my full potential and its just an opportunity to grow and get better. Playing a sport like field hockey brings you closer together with your teammates and coaches, it’s like having another family and that makes it even better. I hope to play on the collegiate level and add to the group of hardworking athletes! On the field and in the classroom I work hard and im always open to being coached and taught.
