Unlike many of my other teammates, I did not find my passion for field hockey until middle school. I struggled to know where I belonged, though once I found field hockey, I found myself and continued to pursue and improve the sport, which helped me grow myself. While being a hard worker on the field and constantly working to be my best, I am twice as focused on my academics, which continually come first in any situation. During my freshman year, I took all sophomore and advanced classes while holding an A average. I did the same sophomore year and currently junior year. Furthermore, I helped several of my classmates do the same in my classes or other ones they take. Likewise, I am a team player and work easily with anyone, loving to build strong connections with whoever I meet.
While field hockey is a key and first hobby of mine, I hold many others. English is a strong suit, and I hope to pursue it by joining clubs like the newsroom. Additionally, I love to help both animals and people. I volunteer in shelters and host donations for places such as the Humane Society. It also helps me expand my knowledge on my potential major: psychology. In addition, I enjoy graphic design and creating websites, as well as marketing.
