My goal is to play at the highest level possible, while maintaining high academic standards. I have been playing field hockey since 2nd grade, my love for it has grown so much and it has definitely become the biggest part of my life. I play in the fall for regular season, and then I participate in a winter and summer league, and a club team! During my freshman season I was rewarded best offensive player, and during my sophomore season I was rewarded LL- League all star player, second team. I was also awarded LL- League all star player first team my junior year! I was given the honor of being team captain my senior year as well! What sets me apart from other players is how coachable I am. If someone sees something that I should improve on, I work on and off the field to make myself a better player. My ability to play different positions helps with my versatiliy. I am very proud to be an all AP and honors student, and to serve in Student Council and Health Council. I am also a multi- sport athlete. I played basketball my sophomore year, which has greatly improved my defense, and lacrosse which helps with my hand-eye coordination and become a wiser player. My hope is to earn my nursing degree and become a pediatric nurse, while playing field hockey at the highest level possible.
