Hailey Copestick '22 Recruiting Profile

I was just selected to the 2021 Nexus Championship.  I just finished my 2021 JPOL season.  I was on Philly Hockey Club U19.  We finished 3rd and I was the starting center mid. Fall of 2020 was my Junior season of field hockey. This year I was the starting left mid for the varsity team. The last two years I was the starting right forward for the varsity team. I've been playing field hockey since I was in 3rd grade.  Everyone compliments me on my quickness, speed and vision of the field. I can play any field position and my coaches move me to where I'm most needed.  There usually isn't anyone on the field that is going to beat me in a race to the ball. I was also told that I am a great playmaker and a good two way player.   My coach told me that I make everyone around me better. The last three seasons we went undefeated in our conference.  The last two seasons we made it to the district finals but lost in overtime.  I have experience with the pressure of playing in the playoffs. I would like to play Division 1 field hockey but ultimately I just want to play field hockey in college at any level. I earned distinguished honors my freshman and sophomore years.  I have a 3.9 GPA and I am in several honors classes.  I have the ability to play at a high level and do well in school.
