My name is Caroline Grebe and I am a spirited and aggressive field hockey goalie. I have been playing field hockey for three years and recently switched from forward to goalie upon request of my coach. This past summer, I attended UNC-Chapel Hill's field hockey camp where I won the "Will to Win" award, which was my third day in pads. As a freshman, I was the starting Varsity GK for my school (Fort Worth Country Day) and saved four out of five strokes while helping take my team to SPC (conference tournament).
I also joined the Lone Star Field Hockey Travel Club Team and recently got into Futures, (USA field hockey club). I think what makes me different from many other people in sports is that I am so committed to playing my best and I will do anything and everything to get better and find ways to help and support my team. I even built a field hockey goal in my parents' garage so I could train in my backyard. Field hockey has turned into an obsession for me, I just can't get enough of it and it really brings out the fire in me. I can promise you, you will never find someone like me with such passion and fire! I would be honored to play at the collegiate level. If you have any questions please email me!
