Liliana (Lily) Clarkson '18 Recruiting Profile

I put everything I have into all of my endeavors - academically and athletically.  It is my hope to attend a school that will value me for both.  I am looking for a Division 1 highly selective academic school in an urban or somewhat urban environment. I have a 4.0 GPA with a rigorous course load at Norfolk Academy in Norfolk, Virginia.  I love to be challenged.  I started in 23 games as a freshman for Norfolk Academy helping to win our first ever State Championship in 2014.  I played forward at times but mostly right - mid.  I can play whereever needed.  This year, I played a new position - Center Defensive Mid-starting in every game.   I believe in working with my team to accomplish our goals together.  Our team won our conference finishing with ZERO goals against us (65-0), came in 2nd in our VISAA State Championship,  and are ranked amongst the Top 10 High School Teams in the Mid Atlantic.  I was selected to the VISAA Division 1 All-State Team 2.  I am rapidly growing as a player, physically and mentally , and have alot to offer a collegiate program in the years to come.  I run under a 6 minute mile,  can maintain 7 laps in 12 minutes,  and drive a ball 53mph the length of the field.  I have swam and played soccer for my school.  I am a 4X NFC participant , 2016 Junior Olympian selectee and have won 7 championship tournaments with my Club team - TCOYO HOCKEY currently ranked 4th in the nation.  I also gained european experience  summer 2015 in Barcelona with Eurotour/World Camp USA.  I have great vision of the field,  fast passing skills,  and quick decision making.  I am always open to growing my game and improving.  I am the first to get to the field and the last to leave.  It is my dream to continue to be a part of a team in college. I hope to make an impact on a college team at the highest competition level possible.
