Football has taught me patience and that goals may take longer to reach then you think they should. We have a big school with many kids. I was ready to be on the field as a varsity starter in ninth grade. Remaining motivated for my time was not easy. Junior year I became a starter and it was great. I dominated. My time had come, spring camps were coming up and COVID hit. The COVID pandemic has created barriers, frustration, and disappointments. However, I have stayed in shape, I am ready to play, and I am keeping my eye on a future that includes football. I think I am good enough for college ball and I want to grow and develop under coaches that open up possibilities beyond college ball. I am interested in pursuing an education degree and taking business and finance courses for a minor.
