Personal Statement

My name is Marquis McCullum, I am a senior at Parker High School in Birmingham, Al. I am 6"1 180 lbs, and my most recent 40 time was recorded as a 4.52 (verified by Modern Day Fitness). My primary position is cornerback, but I have also played free safety as well as strong safety. On the field, in the weight room, and in the film room I am very coachable. I have always had a passion to win, and an ongoing desire to get better. Hard work has never deterred me from my goals as an individual or as a player. I am open to play any where in the country, the size of the school would not be a deciding factor in my choice to go to a university. I am open to all schools. My goal since I was a little kid has been to play D1 football and obtain a quality education. I have qualified academically with a 20 on the ACT and I maintain above a 3.0 core GPA. I have a very diverse upbringing and have a lot to offer as a player and person.
