I'm Zack Reneau from Calera HS in Alabama. I am a QB that is a student of the game. I believe talent is very important but understanding the game is the difference maker for anyone who has ever played any sport. I threw 2 picks last year. I threw 3 my Jr. year and went 15 consecutive games without an INT. I hold school records for most yards, least amount of INTs, best QB rating, best passing percentage, and most TD's in a game. I have also been put in the AL. HS record book for one of the least amount of INT's thrown over a season and career. Although those are great accolades, I realize that it took more than me to accomplish them. I'll admit that I like the pressure put on me to raise my team up and help orchestrate a win. I'm a leader and a winner. Coming early, staying late and watching film is my MO. I've always heard that losing is part of the game. Not my game. I play to win. I want my team to have faith in me and my abilities. I believe that being part of a TEAM is one of the most important things you can learn in life. It has taught me that everyone is equally important and to never leave anyone behind. I have a strong faith in Christ. He knows and teaches us the meaning of team and through him all things are possible. I want to play at a school where those values are taught on campus, in the classroom, and on the football field.
