Personal Statement
I would like to introduce myself. My name is Sawyer Burt. I am 17 years old and a senior at Fort Payne High School in Fort Payne, Alabama. My current GPA is 4.02. I have taken Honors classes and Dual Enrollment my freshman, sophomore and junior years. I am 6'5" and weigh 240 lbs. My 40 is 4.9 and my wing span is 82 inches. Currently, I play Tight End and Y. I am also a long snapper. I have been a varsity starter in 43 games my freshman, sophomore, junior and senior seasons. I was Class 6A Region 8 All Region Honorable Mention my sophomore season and Class 6A Region 7 All Region First Team my junior season.
My goal is to continue my education and have the opportunity to play college football. At this time, I have not chosen a major but would like to attend a good academic program. I consider myself a team player. I am a hard worker in the classroom, weight room and on the field. I can step up and take a leadership role and I am a coachable player who appreciates feedback. I am very active in my church and youth group. When I am not playing football and baseball, I enjoy hunting, fishing and playing golf.
