Alonzo Harris '11 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6' 1" 200 running back from Gadsden, AL. I am in the midst of my junior year (3-year varsity) and having an excellent year playing both the lead and fullback positions for the Gadsden City Titans. Last year, in a backup role, I rushed for 400 yards and had seven TDs, 2 coming in critical playoff games! This year has been a great season as I have accumulated over 800 yards total offense and racked up 18 total TDs! I am a hard-working athlete who is not only strong enough to run between the tackles but able to turn the corner on the opposition. I have also tried to display my versatility by being a more than capable receiver out of the backfield. I would be an asset to your team!!! I have also excelled in the classroom as I currently have a 3.0 GPA and made A-B Honor in my first reporting this year! I am looking to major in engineering in college. I am looking for an institution with a winning attitude both in the classroom and on the field. Academics are important to me as I am looking to take advantage of the educational opportunity offered as well. Ideally, I would like to attend a school where I could an immediate impact on the team. I truly belive that I have talent and I am looking to justify that over my junior and senior seasons.
