Archer Charles - ...Personal Statement
Hello. My name is Archer Charles. I have wanted to play collegiate sports all of my life. Its has been a goal of mine to get to that level of play and be successful. I have put many hours of work towards this goal and will continue to work hard once I reach that goal. I have worked hard for what I have acheived and I believe that hard work will pay off in all that I do in the future. What you put in something is what you get out of it. That is what I have been taught all my life. I feel that I am very coachable and look forward to playing football at the next level and having an opportunity to be taught by the best. The prospect of being taught new techniques and new game play ideas excites me and fuels my desire to play even more.
Success on the field and off the field is important to me. I will always strive to do my best to lead and do things the right way even when no one is looking. Being a leader on and off the field is very important to me. I aspire and challenge myself to lead by example everyday.
In my search for colleges, I would prefer a college close to home. However, I am very open to opportunities to play anywhere. I am a competitive person and I am interested in looking for a competitive school. I know that academics are a huge part of the recruiting process and that is why I work diligently on improving them everyday. I am very motivated and excited to start my recruiting journey!

- This camp will focus on all aspects of the offensive game. There will be fundamental drills that will teach the main principles of hitting. Players will also be given tips and some insight to proper approaches to hitting. We will cover other aspects of hitting including the inside game and situations a player may be called upon to execute it. This portion of camp will be an excellent opportunity for players to help round out their offensive game and take it to the next level.

- Catchers – We will go through extensive drill work to focus on the fundamentals needed in order to better your game. These will not be limited to the physical game only. We will cover everything from receiving, blocking, throwing, footwork, pitcher/catcher relationships, tempo, posture, make-up, communication…etc. The core values of our catching position will be taught here in this camp and will allow for the development of your game at a high level.

- Working on all aspects of form for catcher position to maximize strength, speed, and flow of the game. Mental work for the catcher's position. Understanding the role of the catcher and how to lead the team.
