Personal Statement

From the beginning, my parents have influenced my life by instilling the importance of being humble, honest, and hard working. They encouraged me from a very early age to be active and enjoy the outdoors, which laid the foundation for me playing multiple sports along the way: soccer, baseball, basketball, and football. Playing multiple sports was where I wanted to be; however, it did not come without challenges. I have learned that I am adaptable, coachable, and patient which are characteristics that have helped me to be successful on and off the field.
With that being said, I am currently taking pre-advanced diploma courses in pursuit of graduating with an advanced diploma. With success on the field and in the classroom, my hopes by being recognized as a scholarly-athlete, colleges will acknowledge both as being assets to their program; furthermore, allowing me to achieve my dream of playing at the next level.
