Personal Statement
After my high school playing days are over I envision myself being a student-athlete and contributor at the collegiate level. Throughout my young life I’ve learned several life lessons from seeing how hard my parents work and provide for my brother and I. They push me to be the best I can be and with my support system I truly believe the sky is the limit. I began playing football at age 5 and instantly became addicted. As the years have rolled in I’ve gained a better understanding of the sport. I absolutely love the team aspect of this game. From playing OL/DL and being a primary Center for most of my playing time, I thoroughly enjoy helping other teammates learn the game and situational football. I love being a leader and give everything I have to my team. My heart alone is the reason I know I will succeed at the next level. The game has taught me that this is a real passion of mine and something I intend to have as a part of my life from here on out as a player and eventually coach. As a student I’m continually trying to get better. Sports management and Business is areas I see myself studying during my collegiate career and I understand that starts in the classroom.
