Personal Statement
My name is Jackson Bryant. I am a member of the Class of 2019. I attend Coosa Valley Academy in Harpersville, Alabama, where I play football and baseball. I have a strong desire to continue my football playing career while pursuing my college education. I am open to any opportunities that will allow me to achieve those goals.
While playing football, I have played the positions of quarterback, receiver, cornerback, strong safety/rover, as well as numerous positions on special teams. I have an openness to playing anywhere that is beneficial to my team. That flexibility, along with my hard work and competitive spirit, is why I believe that I can be an asset to any team. I have a strong history of not missing practice or team functions. I’m also willing to put in extra work to improve my ability to perform. I workout three to four days a week outside of team workouts, as well as getting teammates together to train on the field. I feel like my work ethic and personal traits are the reasons that I can contribute to a football program.
It has been my desire to play football while pursuing my college education for many years. I have never been in any legal trouble, or in any trouble with school. I have always been respectful towards my teachers, coaches, and administrators. I would never allow myself to be in a situation that would jeopardize my opportunity to achieve my goals. If a coach is willing to take a chance with me, he will be getting a player that he will be able to count on to do the things on the field, and in the weight room, to improve his abilities and his team. But, he will also be getting a person that he will not have to worry about getting into trouble and being a distraction to the team, or an embarrassment to the coach, or the university. I look forward to hearing about and exploring any opportunities.
