Playing college football has been a life long dream of mine as well as attaining my degree. Football for me has taught me so much. I have battled through the adversity of injuries, my closest friends & teammates transferring, thus decimating our team. I have had 5 head coaches since the 7th grade. With all the negative there has been much more positive. I have learned how to be a much more vocal team leader, I always just tried to lead by my play. I was promoted to permanent team captain my junior year. I relish the role trying to show my teammates how to practice, play & train. Finally getting to play with my younger brother beside me these last two years has been an experience I will never forget as well. I’ve never been on an elite team, however when we have played elite teams... I’ve made sure they remember # 33!
As a student, I have maintained a 3.5 GPA in mostly honors classes and a 22 on my ACT. Working hard in the classroom is just as important to me as on the field. My adult future and success tied to how I perform academically.
Though I may not have the stars beside my name saying I’m an elite player, the school that takes a chance on this player form small town in Alabama will be excited they did when they get me into there program.
