Personal Statement
My name is Christian Burnette and I strive to be the best collegiate student athlete that I can be. I wish to excel at both academics and athletics. I love to be coached and I'm a quick learner. During my freshman year of football I played a lot less than I did in 8th grade due to an injury. I believed that I learned that, as a primarily running back, even if I'm not on the field I can still help my team, whether it's during practice, on special teams, or even on the sidelines. Every little thing matters. I give a 100% no matter what I am doing. My favorite bible verse is Luke 12:48. It reads, "...for unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall much be required". I understand and accept the responsibilities that comes with the blessings that I have been given.
