Joseph Ray '14 Recruiting Profile

My name is Joseph Ray, and I am a 5''11" cprnerback/safety that runs a 4.48 forty. I play football for the Central High School Red Devils. I presently have a 3.78 gpa; and I plan to further my education once I graduate. They call me a cover corner with a line backers mentality. I will do whatever it takes to help my team, and I believe that if one out of the eleven fails to do his job then we all fail. Football is truly a team sport, and I thorougly enjoy doing my job, but also helping my team mate in any way I can. I take it upon myself to not only know what my responsibilities are; but to know what my teamates responsibilities are as well. As you can tell by my gpa, I take my academics extremely seriously. I work equally as hard in the classroom as I do on the football field. I my life, failure is not an option, and I believe if I continue to put God first, work hard, remain humble, study and commit to my goals, then success is very attainable.
