C.J. Posey '13 Recruiting Profile

My name is Calem Jay Posey but prefer to go by C.J. I am junior in the 2013 graduating class. I have been playing since I was 5 years old and now want to take my athletic ability to the collegiate level. 2009-2010 was my season first year playing varsity football as a freshman. When it comes to playing as a team, I want to be a motivator. "I want to push my teammates to work to their highest ability and to give full effort." Leadership is something that is also important not only on the playing field but those around you in the community. "I want to help those to know we can do anything as a team", Determination is the key factor to achieve my goal. "It is my desire to play for a college team." I would like to play somewhere in the Southeast because I have always lived in the south and like the hospitality. The other reason I like the Southeastern region is because it is where the majority of my family lives and I would love for my mom and my friends come watch me play. I am open to any school that is willing to give me a chance to their program and a school that also has the major that I am looking for so I pursue my career. My desire other than being a top athlete is to follow into my mother's footsteps and go into the dental industry and become an orthodontist. My other influence is to also do sports management. My athletic goals are to become the best overall player whenever the coach asks me to do something, keep improving on my strength, and keep or raise my GPA. Not only being felt I'm the most overlooked and underrated player to opposing high schools and colleges, I impact those in the community. The question I always ask myself is "how bad do you want it?" Also, I know for a fact I HAVE YET TO REACH MY PEAK as not only an athlete, but an individual.
