Personal Statement
In my sophomore year, Coach Styles ask me to come to football practice to see if I could kick. After he asked several times, I decided to give it a try. Only a few weeks later when football season started, I became kicker for the varsity and junior varsity team. In my junior year I made 80% of my field goals as well as 100% of my extra points and on kickoffs I consistently put them in the end zone. At the end of my junior year I placed 1st in all region. I take my position seriously and do everything I can to better myself and in turn, my team. I get along well with everyone and I’m definitely a team player. I’m active in church and volunteer to help with community projects. In 2013 I went on a mission trip to Guatemala to rebuild facilities at an orphanage. I have my priorities in order and my goals set. In college I plan to prepare myself for a career in Physical Therapy and/or Business. However, everyone has a dream and mine would be to become an NFL kicker!
