I have learned a lot from playing the game of football, and I would really like the opportunity to play in college. I've learned work ethic, teamwork, leadership skills, and physical and mental toughness. I believe I'm a quiet leader. I was voted team captain, offensive MVP, and offensive AND defensive skill player of the year in 8th grade by my teammates, and I was chosen Freshman Captain of my high school varsity team by my coaches, starting all 10 games at OLB when I was 14. I moved to the Mike as a sophomore, where I started all 10 games and continue to learn. My goal is to continue to play this sport and continue improving so that I can be the best player and teammate that I can be.
Academics in college are the most important thing to me, but I know that football is teaching me skills that I need to grow into a man of good character. I'd like to play this game as long as I can continue to contribute to my team and grow personally. My career goal at this time is to become a physician or similar professional that helps others. I'm looking for a school where I can enjoy the college experience and accomplish both academic and athletic goals.
