Personal Statement
I am a young athlete pursuing my life-long dream of going to college and graduating with a degree while continuing to play football at a high level. I am currently playing at the Junior College Level in Minnesota, and am looking for a four year university to transfer to in order to continue pursuing my dream. I am a hard worker both on the field and in the classroom. I am a team player and a natural leader. These skills all led me to become captain of the football team this year at Minnesota State Community and Technical College. I will give my all to perform to the best of my ability on and off the field. I will commit to my education first and foremost, but direct my attention to football during practices and on game day. I will support my team and put my teammates before myself. I am dedicated to football because of my love for the sport. For that reason, I know I will be a great candidate for the next level of college football in the Fall of 2015.
