Personal Statement
I have had a passion for football from the first year I played as a 4th grade lineman. All the way up to high school I was only allowed to play offensive and defensive line because of my weight. I was blessed through this because it taught me how to selflessly play for my team and develop a passion for the physicality of the game. In high school as a junior I suffered a AC joint sprain, but overcame it through diligent work and effort. Being a very versatile player in high school, I played practically every position on defense from outside linebacker to 1st team All-State defensive end my senior year.
Academically I will graduate with a nearly perfect GPA and plan to continue that academic excellence into college, studying to go on to medical school. Throughout high school I have been a member of NHS, and always look to give back to my community through service. being a multi-sport athlete in football, basketball, and track, I know that I have the work ethic to grow and thrive playing college football. I will grind it out until I am a major contributor on whatever team I play for. I take pride in being a team player and will do whatever it takes to win.
