Sam Preston '26 Recruiting Profile

I am a great leader and learner, I am able to execute high pressure kicks in the big situations for the team. I work as hard in football as I do in the classroom. My collegiate goals are to play for a competitive, high level program that I would be able to major in Political Science & Goverment. I believe being a combo player who does both Kicking & Punting, as well as being a Kickoff Specialist, can be an asset on whatever part of special teams I am needed. I am able to hold for field goals as well. I kick field goals and PAT's off the ground with no field goal tees. I have made a 61 yard field goal in practice, and have held a 41.3 yard punting average for my high school, as well as making 14/14 on field goals with the team. I played for U16 Team Alberta Provincial team, playing in the 2023 U16 Western challenge. I also played in the Alberta Summer Games (ASG) as a Kicker/Punter. My furthest punt is 68 in game, and furthest in practice is 87 with roll, I believe I show a great field flipping ability with punts, and an accurate field goal technique. I always strive to be a better Student, Athlete, and Person through football.
