Ryan Middleton '10 Recruiting Profile

My name is Ryan Middleton, I am 6' 1", 195 pounds, with a 40 time of 4.6 seconds (grass). I have played four years of varsity football, starting three out of the four. My Junior year I was named 2nd team all region, and honorable mention all state. My Senior year I was named 1st team all region defense and honorable mention all state. As a senior I was named a team captain for my leadership and determination both on and off the field. I am very strong willed and believe I have the drive to do anything I set my mind to, no matter how difficult. I want to become a pilot, and geographically I would like to locate next to one of the coasts. That said, that isn't a requirement, as I want to fly as well as play football. I am open to any sized school, and my preferred major would be in the field of aeronautics(pilot)- I am however open to pursuing a different major if the right situation presents itself to allow me to play ball. My first goal with college is to get quality education and get my degree, but college without football to me wouldn't be much of a college experience. I love the game of football on a deeper level than most, and have been playing organized ball for much of my life. During my time in organized ball (starting in the 4th grade), I have played every position at some point with the exception of Noseguard and OL, but the majority of my playing time throughout has been in skill positions. Football is a game that brings all types of athletes together onto one playing field creating an amazing sport, and I would love to play football at the college level while continuing my education.

I have currently been out of football due to pursuing my school. Current highlight tape doesn't reflect current size or strength/ability. I believe I have improved a vast amount over the past two years from the time of the current highlight reel.
