My name is Chandler Hovik and I am a 6'1 185 lbs starting varsity quarterback and playing football is everything to me. I have been and will do whatever it takes to play at the next level after high school. I am a team captain,I am reliable,humble, and a great leader on and off the field. I am always looking out for my teamates and help motivate them to be their best.I attend a school where as a white player I am a minority both in football and baseball. This has been a great experience for me on and off the field. I feel as though I can fit in any situation and have a respect for many diverse backgrounds and I am also respected. I have set goals to become stronger, bigger, and faster. I am also a varsity starter on the baseball team and after baseball I hit the weight room. I am always training for football. I am looking for a school that has both football and academic excellence. I am ranked in the top 4% of my high school acedemically, and have a 4.1 weighed GPA. I have learned a lot from my coaches over the years, they have had such a impact on me and my teams that I would like to get a coaching degree in college. I want to have a great relationship with my coaches in college and be able to learn and communicate with them. I am a fast learner on and off the field and can learn the offensive schemes quickly. I run the spread offense and throw a lot. Coach Rattay has trusted me to call plays and change plays at the line. I love a challenge. I work well under pressure and thrive on competition. I completed 71% of my passes last year, which was the highest in 5A1 football in Az. This year I have 25  touchdowns in 10 games. Prior to the playoffs I was ranked 6th out of all D1/D2 schools in the state..My goal is  to play football in college. No matter what level I play at or where the college may be located I will do whatever it takes to play and help my school and teamates have a successful season... My team went through a lot of adversity the last two years, Our team stuck together, my coaches, and the school. I am very loyal. I have a positve outlook in everything I do. I love football!!
