Diego Lujan '20 Recruiting Profile

What I desire from my college expierience is to become a better student athlete, meet new people, form new bonds, and attain the goals for whch I have set for myself. I know with hard work, dedication, and my strong desire to succeed, I can do great things for myself, my team, and all who support me. 

I also participate in Basketball, Track & Field, and Wrestling. 

2015-2016, I was awarded the 8th Grade Male Athlete of the Year for Cross Middle School. I played Football, Basketball, Wrestling, and Track & Field. I won 2 First Place medals,  1 Second Place medals, 1 Third Place medal, and qualified for the State Wrestling Finals during 8th Grade. 

2016-2017,  As a Freshman I played all five positions on the O/L. I was the starting Defensive End and also played at Fullback. I had 1 rushing touchdown. I started one game for JV playing Left Guard and Defensive Tackle. I then became the back up Defensive TackleI and Tight End on Varsity during the playoffs. I also hold the Freshman lifting records to include incline bench press, squat lift, clean lift, and traditional bench press.

2017-2018, As a Sophomore starting at Left Tackle and Defensive Tackle on Varsity, I was selected to 1st Team O/L All Region for 4A Kino. I also am the coholder of the Sophomore Squat record at 500 pounds.

2018-2019, As a Junior starting at Left Tackle and Defensive Tackle on Varsity, I was selected to 1st Team O/L All Region for 4-A Kino.  I received an award from my High School for Offensive Lineman Of The Year. I also hold the Junior Squat record at 535 pounds.
