Playing college football has always been a goal I've strived to achieve. As a young athlete I was always smaller than the others which benefited me in the long run. I was forced to work harder than everyone on my team to prove that I deserve my spot. Now that I have grown and matured, size is no longer a concern of mine, but my work ethic has stayed with me.
In school, I am held to a higher standard because I am an athlete. That gives me more incentive to be respectful and excel in my classes. I'm aware that athletics will come to an end someday, which is why education is so important to me.
