Andrew Fouts-Groom '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Andrew and thank you for looking at my profile! I aspire to be a collegiate athlete in soccer, beyond that I want to go professional in soccer. Academically, I want to pursue a major in Sports Engineering. Sports engineering interests me because it allows me to stay involved with sports year-round, and I want to accept the challenge of creating safer equipment for all sports. I excel in mathematics  and feel like I can contribute to the field of sports engineering as both a player and equipment developer.

I believe that I am a good candidate for college teams as an all around athlete. I have passion to play my hardest at any position I am assigned and am willing to give  the team my all.  Team work is important to me because no one person can win a game it takes every player working their hardest. I strive to excel both on and off the field and find it important to do my very best academically so that I can always be ready to play my hardest for my team.

I feel that what sets me apart from other recruits is that I am flexible in my athletics. I can play multiple sports, and multiple positions in those sports. I take on the challenge of being the best in whatever I play, having discipline and promoting great team work. Academically, I take on the challenge of staying active in my classes and using my free time away from sports to keep my grades up.
