My name is Varney Larson. I was born in Liberia and adopted, along with my sister, when I was five years old. One of the things I love about America is the opportunity to play in sports. My favorite sports are football and track.
I am a student at Mountain View high school in Tucson Arizona. Sports and school work keep me busy, but in my spare time I like movies, video games and playing with my dog.
I volunteer to help refugee families in Tucson. This is important to me because refugees come to America to escape war. Before I was adopted, my country was at war and I am glad to help other people who are new to America.
