Gabriel Ramirez '19 Recruiting Profile

I started playing football when I was eight years old, immediately after my first touchdown I knew this path was meant for me. Growing up as a child, football has had a huge impact on my life. Its taught me how to be disciplined, focused, committed and the value of teamwork. I feel I grew the most as a student-athlete my sophomore year. During freshman season our team didn’t have an overall great record. I had spent my summer re-focusing my mindset and refining my skills. Entering sophomore year, I came into the season with a determined mentality and an eager attitude. Our team ended that season undefeated which led us to become the 2nd team in our school history to hold that record. 

I’m looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically. Above football comes my education, which is my first priority. I’ve plan to pursue a degree which ties both education and football. I believe my work ethic, humble manner and coach-able personality would make an immediate impact on your program. As a four-year captain, I am confident that I have what it takes to be a leader on your team!
