Michael Wingo '21 Recruiting Profile

Football means everything to me. Football is my drive in the classroom, and it is what keeps my spirit high throughout the day. I see the game different than most, and I think this is what makes me differ from other recruits. The game isn't just a game to me it is a part of my life, but the classroom comes first. Without a high GPA it doesn't matter how good of an athlete you are, so I make sure to put my classes first. I have had the same goal since I could start playing football, to be the first Wingo to go to college and become a professional football player. I think that the best goals in life are the ones that make you strive to be something you never thought would be possible, and that is what I did. I know the game inside and out, i'm a great learner, and smart in the classroom. I feel these are all ways of how I am different from other recruits and why I would be a good candidate for their team.
